| HISTORY OF YMS Brett Young, following his success in the Olympic Trials in 1988 set up Young Marine Services (YMS) in 1989. The first boat built was Brett's 470 Olympic Class yacht for his own campaign with Olympian Chris Tillet. Setting up in a factory in the marine industrial area of Somerton Park in South Australia, YMS has expanded to include the production of world class racing dinghies, Olympic team foils and industrial fibreglass work. Brett is also committed to supporting local and international sailors with the design and development of customised boats and foils, boat and foil repairs and junior and senior coaching.
